Airbus supplier village is under construction

The building of the aviation industry support center project of the Airbus supplier village, in adjacent to the site of A320 FAL project, started recently. It is predicted that the project will be put into operation next year.
Located in Tianjin port bonded zone and adjacent to A320 FAL workshop, Airbus supplier village is covers a total area of 77.000 sq m. It mainly engages in attracting suppliers for Airbus projects and relevant aviation and space flight enterprises.
The supplier village is reportedly the only wholly Chinese funded and designed auxiliary service building of all Airbus FAL projects. It covers a building area of 24,000 sq m and a floor area of 10,000 sq m and has seven floors.
The building is designed by China Aeronautical project and Design Institution and invested by Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Investment Co Ltd. the aviation industry support center of Tianjin Port Bonded Zone takes charge of managing and supervising the building of the project. At present, there are 13 Airbus core supplier decided to enter into the supplier village.
