US Tianjin Trade Park grows up in Tianjin Port Bonded Area

Gou Lijun, standing member of CPC Tianjin Committee and director of the administrative committee of Binhai New Area met Henry Johnson, CEO of the Northern Alliance Zone of South California State Government and Ms. Huang Guang Duanyi, president of Tianjin Trade Park.
At the meeting, both sides reviewed their cooperative histories between Tianjin and South California. In early 2004, the administrative committee of Tianjin Bonded Area invested to established US Tianjin Trade Park in South California on behalf of Tianjin Municipal Government, for the sake of offering a service and development platform for Chinese enterprises in US and helping them to expand export to US and raise economic benefits. Through efforts for four years, US Tianjin Trade Park made a preliminary achievement, completing 40,000 square meters of infrastructures, offices and workshops and attracting 10-odd Chinese enterprises for production, processing, logistic delivery and international trade. The established “Tianjin Commodity Exhibition Center” draws over 200 enterprises, with 2000-odd products on display, and then serving as a demonstration place for Tianjin to display products and hold business negotiations. Therefore, the Ministry of Commerce of PRC, US Federal Government and South California State Government paid highly attentions to the park and offered active supports.
During the meeting, Gou Lijun briefed the conditions of development and opening up of Tianjin Binhai New Area to American guests, and welcomed more US enterprises to invest and develop in Binhai New Area. He said that during the course of development and opening up, they support more enterprises to go global and make use of both markets and resources. He believed that US Tianjin Trade Park is bound to make a greater progress under the joint efforts of Tianjin Bonded Area and US Pacific Co Ltd.
Henry Johnson gave a high praise to the development of US Tianjin Trade Park. He said Tianjin took the lead in investing projects and accumulated abundant experiences; therefore, it can offer all-round services to Chinese enterprises in terms of investment in US, becoming a demonstration platform for Chinese enterprises to go global.
